There are certain guidelines you need to follow once you arrive at the facility:
- You are not allowed to leave once you enter or your visit will be cancelled.
- You must be subjected to a complete search that may include K-9 dogs. If there is any contraband of any kind found on your person your visit will be cancelled. You are not allowed to take anything with you into your visit.
- If you need to cancel a visit for any reason you must call at least 2 hours ahead of the scheduled visit time. The upsetting part for the inmate is that if you cancel, it still counts towards their total of two visits per week.
- Dress appropriately for your visits. The staff has the right to refuse anyone that is dressed inappropriately. Dress like you were going to a job interview or visiting your grandparents. If you have any questions as to what you might wear you can call the main number and receive guidance.

Attorneys are allowed to visit as often as they please as long as they present a Certificate of Good Standing by the Supreme Court. Inmates cannot receive anything from an attorney while visiting unless they have specific permission from the Jail Supervisor.
